I feel so great and I am so happy! Lizzie slept about 10 hours last night and also slept about 2 hours during the day yesterday. She woke up refreshed and looks pretty good. I was hoping for her metal state to be a little better, but she was yelling for Spencer first thing. She also insisted that her milk was juice and there was just no arguing. I feel like there was a ton of progress yesterday and I feel good and I am really excited about her rest and awareness.
I also went home on Monday night to sleep with the Calli and Spencer. It was so awesome! They are so sweet. I just loved cuddling with Calli, she was really clingy and I really enjoyed spending time with her. Spence and I were able to build some legos and play Lego Star Wars and we had a fun time. They will be coming down with Ma Roosie and Pa Ray today and I am excited to see all of them.
Many of you know I love to play basketball. I play religiously every Wednesday night. There has to be something really important for me to miss(I guess this qualifies). Anyhow, there is a team in our stake that we haven't beat for like 4 years in church ball. I got a text on Friday night from Austin Adamson saying, "This may sound cheesy, but we're going to win our game tonight for you." I'll be honest with you, I thought Lizzie had a better chance of getting up and walking out of the hospital, but I didn't want to tell him that(j/k). I texted him back and said, "It isn't cheesy at all, go get a win." I ended up getting a text later on that night saying that they got the win. Before the game and at half time their cheer was "Huff." Carol said (sarcastically, of course) "That is the biggest miracle of this whole experience!" What a little punk! That game meant something to me, and obviously, to my friends in the ward. We are so grateful for where we live and the friends we have.
We really are blessed. I am excited for Lizzie's progress. She still has a long way to go. She has only taken about 35 steps total since we have been here and they are all with assistance. She can't even sit up on her own in bed. But her personality is coming back and it is nice to hear her giggle. I am excited for the deep belly laughs she does and sometimes even does a little scream that makes the whole room laugh. She is smiling and is doing well. Thanks again for your love, support, friendship, encouragement and prayers. We love looking at who has posted comments on this blog. It has really helped Carol and I and we appreciate your support. Thanks!

Hip Hip Hooray!!!!!
I am so glad to hear your days are getting better! Go Lizzie!!! Since we are talking about important things like basketball . . . let's move to the peach orchard. Can I just say something was missing! It just didn't feel right without Ben screaming at the YM and throwing things at the YW! Sunday just isn't Sunday without the Huffs sitting up front, Basketball just isn't basketball without Ben, and the peach orchard was a drag! Ha ha You are missed and loved much! Take good care of that little girl and know we are anxious for your return. WE MISS YOU! Much love and prayers!

Ya Ben, I thought our chances of winning that game were pretty slim too, but Austin riled us up. We had a good cause to fight for, though!
