Some of my friends got me into couponing and it took me a few months to actually "get it" but now I love it - even though sometimes the cashiers look at me like I'm white trash or something.
Tonight, I went shopping and got the following: 5 lotions, 10 packs of gum, 1 pack of hair elastics, 7 first aid kits, 1 diced tomatoes, 1 box of cereal and 2 super cute pair of Op shorts for Liz. Retail price for all of that is $52.
I spent $5.
I'm seriously not kidding.

That is awesome. I have started to use coupons too with grocerysmarts. I am not the best yet, but I am getting better. I love to have a handful of coupons.
you are inspiring me! I used to do coupons all through law school. We saved so much money!! I need to get back to the coupon business. I can't believe you got all of that stuff for $5! Wow!
You did awesome Carol! It is way addictive! Last week at the grocery store I spent 180 and then gave them 90 bucks worth of coupons which was awesome, the sad thing, if I can't save at least that much, I get so bummed! How sad is that? I get so excited every Tuesday when the Smith's ad comes out! Can't believe my life has come down to this lol.
I always hear about these people and I never believe it. Wow! I might have to give it a try. I don't know what I'd do with all those Mentos but I'm sure I could think of something.
