Apathy, Easter & a Birthday

I have no real reason for not posting in over a month - I have just been apathetic. I also think that during March I had a serious case of Seasonal Affective Disorder...I really need to move somewhere where the sun actually shines!

I have some major blogging catch-up to do...

Easter was fun! We had multiple egg hunts with our families...and also took a trip on Easter weekend to Cabela's (give me a break!) and REI - basically it was a "mancation" for Ben & his Dad while the rest of us looked around wondering what the big deal was :)

I love my two little girls - they are so feisty and fun.Spencer had a birthday! He is now the ripe ol' age of 7! Ben & I can't stand it that he is so grown up. I miss the little boy, but love the big boy he is turning out to be! We had a Star Wars Party and it was so fun...although, I think next time we'll limit the number of boys...there was much too much testosterone here! These are the invites we sent out minus the personal info.

12 Crazy Boys (including Ben, of course)

Ben & I made homemade lightsabers out of PVC pipe & pool noodles - they were surprisingly fun & easy to make.
Playing "Pass the Death Star"

Battling it out on the two trampolines...we got a new trampoline, but the other one was still here, so the boys had tons of fun jumping from one to the other while battling...it was a lawsuit waiting to happen, but luckily no one got hurt!

Spencer opening his presents...the big hits were Star Wars Legos & Bakugans (what, you ask, are Bakugans? I still have no idea!)

Lizzie steered clear of all the fighting boys, but still wanted her own lightsaber.
The birthday boy...still trying to figure out how to do a genuine smile for the camera...I think his cheeks were full of b-day candy. I love this kid!And yes, just in case anyone was wondering, Calli is still a little stinker...she stacks 2 stools on top of eachother so she can get into more trouble!

I am so glad that you came out of your funk and updated us on all your happenings. Spencer looks like he has grown up even more since Christmas. He is a handsome boy. We are coming down this summer and would love to get together and hopefully I won't be crazy exhausted this time. As for Addie's hair I used heat activating spray, then curled it with a small curling iron and hairspray. She thought she was pretty cute. Glad to see all is well.

Move to Arizona. Oh wait..I can't say that now. Winter and Spring are over for us. It is hot. Just plain hot. But hey, who wouldn't ant to jump in the pool when it is 100 outside?

What a fun birthday, and my the invites look good hee hee. Okay, so Brecklin does the same thing with 2 stools, it does indeed frighten me how much they are alike. YIKES! We're in for it, but at least we have each other.
