A conversation I just had with Spencer:
Spencer - "Mom can I have green beans everyday for my after school snack?"
Me - "Uh, yeah."
Spencer - "I saw on the news that if you eat lots of green beans that you can grow a beard and I want a beard."
Me - (sitting there a little confused thinking a) why would a little boy want a beard and b) when exactly did he see this "news report."
Spencer - "But one thing mom, if girls eat a lot of green beans they'll grow a beard too."
Me - "Where exactly did you see this news report."
Spencer - "Um, my teacher told me this."
Me - "Hmmmm...."
So, I have to ask...has anyone else seen this news report or is Spencer completely full of it
(I already know he is, but just wanted some confirmation)?!!!

Thanks for letting me know. I will be sure to avoid green beans in the furure. I don't want a beard. I'll let Spencer do all the facial hair growing for the two of us.
Ok so I love your little comments from your kids- They are so cute and funny- Whenever I need a good laugh I just read your blog, and there is always something funny that they said. I love it- Your family is so cute- and your such good parents- I will have to keep close attention to the green bean ad, mike could use a little facial hair- he can't even grow arm hair, but it's worth a try right??
