Okay, so I realize that no one but my husband and I will understand the title of this post, but that's the whole point!



Today (Thanksgiving Day) is the 15th year anniversary of our FIRST date! Weird that it was on Thanksgiving, I know, but oh so memorable...a little movie, a little writing on someone's car(seriously, we were such little vandals), and I think maybe a little hand holding??!



Anyhow, I'm sooooo glad that Ben & I are such different people than we were then...when I think back, it's almost like those memories are from a different life...thank goodness for change is all I have to say (on my part, not Ben's).



I found a letter awhile back...you know those letters that Seminary teachers have you write to your future self. Anyhow, you were supposed to write where you wanted to be in ten years, etc. I must have been dating Ben at the time because I wrote that I wanted to be married to Ben H. and have 2-3 children, a college degree, etc.



I grew sentimental when I read that letter. I realized I am living my dream. I am so lucky to have Ben, who knows me better than I know myself and who I share a lifetime of inside jokes (bellybutton pills, rodents in a gift box, stolen jeep doors, wrongfully accused painter of statues) and who I share a language with that only we understand(QFroo, freeins, lovey-lovey, schleeps, my reeties and on and on!)
