Ungrateful Wretches

Yes we are...ungrateful little wretches :) We forgot to thank everyone that donated to Primary Children's in the form of bingo prizes and food for the parent resource center. I think the donations for the parent resource center were especially appreciated and it surprised them I think.

The woman in charge of the center sent a thank you card to us, but we wanted to pass on to you that they are so grateful for the donations. Some of those parents really do have nothing and the donations of food and snacks go a long way in sustaining them.

We are going to continue with collecting donations on an ongoing basis since we have appointments down there at least once a month right now...our next one is June, so if you'd like to donate bottled water, individually wrapped snacks or gifts for the kids down there, we will accept donations anytime.

Here's a quote from the thank you card written by the lady in the parents resource center

"I cannot express in words how much your donations meant to so many families! They are still enjoying all of it. You know exactly what they like and need."

Things here are good. A lot of our sadness has been replaced by peace and a calm assurance that we are not forgotten and definitely not alone. Everyone is going through some sort of trial...we feel blessed that our trial is of a nature that we have been able to share it with others and feel lifted by others...so many people suffer in silence and we are just so thankful for the people that have helped us get through this so far. Thank you, thank you!!!
